Summary

Three northwest-southeast running linear ditches are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs of fields adjacent to Sea Barn Farmhouse. They appear to respect the modern field pattern suggesting they are probably the remains of historic trackways or drainage ditches.

Three northwest-southeast running linear ditches are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs of fields adjacent to Sea Barn Farmhouse (1-2). They appear to respect the modern field pattern suggesting they are probably the remains of historic trackways or drainage ditches. They are partially visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project (3). It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
