A linear ditch is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of a field to the east of Ringstead (1). It appears to respect the modern field pattern suggesting it is probably historic in date. It is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
