Summary

A group of six Second World War anti tank cubes are visible as extant structures on aerial photographs of Ringstead beach taken in 1946. It is possible they have since been incorporated in to the modern sea defences.

A group of six Second World War anti tank cubes are visible as extant structures on aerial photographs of Ringstead beach taken in 1946 (1). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project, although it is possible they may have been incorporated into the modern sea defence (2). These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
