Four buildings which may have had a military function during the Second World War, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the north of Sterte to the south west of Stanley Green. The buildings are of unclear function, but may have been associated with coastal defence or manufacturing. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
