A probable post medieval extractive pit is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 (1) to the west of Creekmoor Bridge, Poole. The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project (2). This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
