A circular hollow, 6m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the cliff-top of Houns-tout Cliff. It is considered to be a Second World War bomb crater. (1). The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
