Two large extractive pits are visible as earthworks on lidar to the west of Spyways Barn. A large area of disturbed ground, probably associated with post medieval limestone quarrying, lies immediately to the north. (1-2) . The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
