A small hollow with associated linear features are visible as earthworks on lidar to the west of the war memorial, Worth Matravers. The features are considered likely to be associated with post medieval limestone extraction. (1-2) . The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
