Five parallel linear banks are visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of the Coastguard Cottages, Worth Matravers (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of a medieval strip field system. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
