A series of parallel linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar immediately to the north of Higher Stonehips. The features were considered to be the denuded remains of a medieval strip field system.

A series of parallel linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar immediately to the north of Higher Stonehips (1-2). The features were considered to be the denuded remains of a medieval strip field system. The site was digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
