Full Description
A series of extractive pits and spoil heaps associated with post medieval shale working are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar to the north of Cuddle (1-3). The features are associated thie the shale level described in MWX4003 and were digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
