A small zig-zag trench is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945, lying between the two groups of Second World War bomb craters or shell holes described in MDO29179. The feature is considered likely to be a small slit trench or practice trench of contemporary date. The site digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery.
