Full Description
An area of field boundaries of possible late post medieval date is visible as an earthwork on recent lidar imagery on Peveril Point, Swanage. The field boundaries are visible as linear banks and ditches, forming one rectangular enclosure and one partial enclosure. Boundaries extend to the north and south from the complete enclosure. The earthworks are visible over an area measuring approximately 216 m by 100 m. (1-3) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
