Full Description

A possible medieval or post medieval enclosure is visible on recent lidar imagery on Round Down, Swanage. The earthworks consist of three sides of a possible sub-rectangular ditched enclosure with an associated bank on the western side. The enclosure measures 23 m by 13 m. Its function is unclear. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
