Full Description
Three post medieval quarries are visible as earthworks on recent lidar imagery to the south of Cuckoo Pound, Langton Matravers. The quarries are located on limestone and range in size, measuring between 18 m by 14 m and 60 m by 23 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
