A post medieval quarry is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 2008 to the south west of Cuckoo Pound, Langton Matravers. The quarry is located on limestone and measures 80 m by 45 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
