Full Description
Four post medieval quarries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s and recent lidar imagery to the north west of Blackers Hole, Langton Matravers. The quarries are located on limestone and range in size, measuring between 10 m by 9 m and 52 m by 50 m. (1-3) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
