Full Description

A group of trackways, which may be Second World War in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Peveril Point, to the east of Swanage. The trackways are oriented north west-south east and north-west. They are formed of linear ditches visible over an area measuring 260 m by 320 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
