Full Description
A possible Late Prehistoric to Roman field system is visible in two areas, as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1942 and as a low earthwork on recent lidar imagery, to the north east of Blackers Hole, Langton Matravers. The earthworks and cropmarks comprise banked field boundaries which form small sub-rectangular fields. They cover an area measuring approximately 475 m by 245 m.
