A probable Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1941 to the east of Ferry Road, Studland. The earthworks consist of a sub-circular bare earth area measuring approximately 10 m in diameter. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
