An area of Second World War allotments is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s at Morval, Studland. The allotment site measures 78 m by 74 m. (1) Areas of land were given over to allotments during the Second World War as part of the Dig for Victory campaign. The site has since been built over. This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
