A Second World War ranging arrow and a small square building which is probably associated with it, are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1946 on Old Nick's Ground, Studland. (1) The structures are located to the north of an area of bomb craters (see MDO29056) and a possible gun post (see MDO29057). This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
