Full Description
An area of trackways, which may date to between the late post medieval to the Second World War periods, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the east of Ferry Road and to the west of Little Sea, Studland Heath. The trackways are visible as narrow ditches, oriented approximately north west-south east. They are visible over an area measuring 80 m by 47 m. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
