Three areas of post medieval drainage ditches and banked field boundaries that appear to be associated with them are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s in the area of Heatherside, Studland. The area has now been built over. The drainage system and boundaries are visible over an area measuring approximately 190 m by 145 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
