Full Description
A circular depression is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Shotover Moor (1-2). It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb craters associated with Second World war activities in this area. This features was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (3), this area now obscured by vegetation cover.
