Full Description
An oval feature, approximately 50m x 23.5m, is visible as a cropmarked ditch on aerial photographs of a field to the west of Wytch Farm (1). It is located within an area of recorded settlement remains spanning a period between the Late Neolithic and the post medieval (MWX674) and may be associated with at least one of these occupation phases. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2).
