Full Description
A circular pit, approximately 7.5m in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Arne Heath taken in 1947 (1). This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (2), the are now being under forestry plantation.
