A wreck of possible post medieval date is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1969 to the north of Hengistbury Head. The wreck measures approximately 17 m by 9 m. (1) This site is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
