A wreck of possible post medieval date is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1969 to the north of Hengistbury Head. The wreck measures approximately 7 m by 3 m. (1) This site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project, but may still survive as a submerged structure. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
