A group of three circular pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Arne Heath taken in 2010 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of bomb craters associated with Second World War activities in this area. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
