Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible as structures in a single line on aerial photographs of 1940 extending along the beach to the east of Avon Run Road. The cubes extend from from south west to north east for a distance of approximately 245 m. (1-2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
