A group of historic trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of fields just to the south of Ridge taken between 1946 and 1959. These features appear to have since been levelled by modern farming practices and are now only partially visible as cropmarks on Google Earth 2013.

A group of historic trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of fields just to the south of Ridge taken between 1946 (1) and 1959 (2). These features appear to have since been levelled by modern farming practices and are now only partially visible as cropmarks on the most recent comprehensive aerial images (3). They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
