Full Description

Three possible medieval or post medieval bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1947 to the west of Crouch Hill. The craters are sub-circular and measure 4 m in diameter. (1-2) The site is not visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
