Full Description

A boundary bank of uncertain date, possibly dating to between the Bronze Age and early historic period is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 to the north of Crouch Hill. The bank is oriented east-west and extends for a distance of approximately 62 m. (1) The site is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
