Full Description

A possible historic drain is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 to the east of Crouch Hill. The drain is visible as a linear ditch cutting across a low-lying peninsula of land from north east to south west for a distance of approximately 160 m in length. (1) The site is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
