A possible late post medieval field boundary or drain is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 in the recreation ground to the west of Stanpit.

A possible late post medieval field boundary or drain is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 in the recreation ground to the west of Stanpit. The boundary is visible as a ditch flanked by banks, measuring approximately 70 m in length. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
