Full Description

A rectilinear building, approximately 10.8m x 7.8m, located to the west of South Bridge, Wareham, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (1). The building is of uncertain date and function. It is possible it could be the site of a post medieval or modern boat house. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is no longer visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial photographs available to the project (2).
