Full Description
An area of post medieval drainage is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947, to the east of Grimbury Marsh. The earthworks are visible as ditches over an area measuring approximately 290 m by 115 m, with drains oriented south west-north east. (1) The drains are still visible as earthworks on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
