Full Description
A possible modern jetty is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 2008 to the east of Church Hill, Brownsea Island. The jetty structure extends to the north for a distance of 30 m into an area of area of low-lying land which is predominantly currently covered by water. (1) The jetty appears to be disused but is not marked on the modern map. The jetty is not visible on historic aerial photographs. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
