Full Description
A possible post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1947 to the north east of Seymer's Hill on Brownsea Island. The boundary is adjacent to the north of a post medieval brickyard (see 6 019 054) and the boundary may be associated with it. The boundary is visible as an angled bank, with a total length of 58 m. (1) This site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
