Full Description
An early modern landing stage is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1946, extending to the north east from Green Island. The landing stage is curvilinear and measures approximately 90 m in length. The landing stage has now been replaced by a shorter structure in the same location. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
