Full Description
A late post medieval or early modern pier or landing stage is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1946, extending to the south east from Furzey Island towards South Deep. The pier or landing stage measures approximately 145 m in length. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
