A late post medieval or early modern pier or landing stage is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of the 1940s, extending to the south west from Lilliput into Poole Harbour. The landing stage measures approximately 22 m in length. The site is located adjacent to two other landing stages (see MDO28695 and MDO28697). (1-2) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
