A late post medieval or early modern pier or landing stage is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1947, extending to the west from North Haven Point on the Sandbanks peninsula. It measures approximately 32 m in length. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
