Full Description
A late post medieval or early modern harbour wall and associated structures are visible on aerial photographs of 1947, on the south east corner of the Sandbanks peninsula. The structures consist of a wall along the coastline, a breakwater and two buildings. The structures are visible over an area measuring approximately 145 m by 17 m. (1) The site is not marked on the modern map or visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
