Full Description
A possible trackway is visible as an earthwork in Poole Harbour, on aerial photographs of 1947. The trackway is visible as two parallel ditches running north east to south west in the intertidal zone, adjacent to Banks Road. The feature may be the remains of a trackway, accessible at low tide. (1) The trackway is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
