Full Description
A possible Second World War military camp is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s on East Cliff to the the south of East Overcliff Drive. The site consists of an area of buildings arranged around military roads. The buildings and roads are visible over an area measuring approximately 330 m by 110 m. A possible radio mast is located 45 m to the south of the buildings. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
