Full Description
A Second World War military building is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s on the eastern side of Durley Chine. The building is of unknown use, but is located adjacent to a pillbox (see MDO28614) and probably also had a defensive function. It is rectangular measuring approximately 11 m by 3 m. (1) The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
