‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys. The walls are of local rubble and the roofs are thatched. Many of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (19) Lower Eype Farm, house 300 yards W. of Eype church.’
