Full Description

SY 905986. Old Rectory, Mapperton of two storeys and attic with brick walls and tiled roofs was built in the mid 18th century on an L-shaped plan. The symmetrical front has a central doorway with porch added in the early 19th century. <2>

‘The following monuments unless otherwise described are in Mapperton and are of one storey with attics, with cob walls and thatched roofs.
(37) OLD RECTORY 9905986), of two storeys and attic with brick walls and tiled roof with stone slates at verges, was built in the mid 18th century on an L-shaped plan. The front is symmetrical; the central doorway has an added porch with early 19th-century reeded columns; the windows have double-hung sashes under flat arches with keystones.’
